Being active when you are travelling is a great way to keep fit, particularly when you are busy.  Travelling by bike is a smart way to get around. Whether commuting to work or nipping to the newsagents, you’ll be saving money and improving your fitness.  The only thing putting on weight will be your wallet.

Throughout the Royal Borough of Greenwich there are also great outdoor spaces, leisure facilities and lots of different clubs, so there are plenty of other things to have a go at.

Try new activities or go back to something you haven’t done for a while, whether on your own or with mates.  From a kick about in the park to finding the best cycle route to work, daytime or evening, with our help you’ll find something that’s good for you.

You may think that you’re too busy, too tired, too unfit or that it sounds too much like hard work.  Start with small steps and with the support and encouragement from others you CAN do it!
