Access Sport is funded by Sport England to create communities of 100 local people, who are diverse in background, age, culture and employment but brought together by a shared desire to get young people more active and they're looking for volunteers!
Each Team100 is designed around local need, this means that you would know the people you are supporting, the clubs you are helping and the change you are creating.
Greewich's Team100 is in Charlton, which is an area full of inspiring community champions, local activators and thriving sport clubs.
Regardless of your background, Team100 is about engaging with local communities, connecting with and inspiring people in aid of getting young people healthier and more active.
Being a member of Team100 is all about supporting your local community and local sports clubs, this can be from the comfort of your own home, updating social media, admin tasks or fundraising. You could support sessions with your friends, helping out at summer-camps or leading a walking/cycling group to schools.
Team100 allows you to fulfil the classic volunteering roles such as coaching and mentoring at sessions. If you have specific skills such as bid writing, monitoring and evaluation or law they want you to join their team.
