Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind work alongside people who mental health needs and dementia to improve their quality of life.
On Monday 24 September Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind, with Greenwich Get Walking are holding their first mindfulness walk as part of the #BeActive European Week of Sport (in partnership with ukactive) and the Mind Get Set Go campaign.
Mindfulness if paying more attention to the present moment which can improve mental wellbeing. Being more minfdul can allow individuals to become more aware of the emotions they experience, being more mindful helps us notice the signe of stress and anxiety which can help people to deal with it sooner.
Join Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind, with Greenwich Get Walking on the 24 September for a walk around Oxleas Wood. Meet at the Cafe on the meadow at 2:30pm.
