Sported has teamed up with London Marathon Events for The Big Half, an exciting new mass participation event coming to the streets of Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lewisham and Greenwich for the very first time on Sunday 4 March 2018.
The Big Half will bring together 20,000 people to celebrate London's multi-cultural population, with events for everyone!
Applications for general entry have sold out but you can sign up for a charity place with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) now!
The Big Half is a half marathon starting at Tower Bridge and finishing in Greenwich, by taking part you will be helping CACT in achieving its three main goals: improving health, reducing crime and improving education and employment at the heart of our community.
As well as The Big Half, there are 3 other events:
During The Big Relay Participants will be able to run in teams of four, each person will run one leg of The Big Relay - Distances ranging from one mile to five miles. 200 teams of four are available to apply for.
The Little Half is a 2.4 mile race starting at Southwark park and finishing at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. This race is open to all ages, abilities and disabilities.
The Big Festival is a celebration of London's diverse culture, food and music which will take place throughout the day in Greenwich.
